Thinking of . . .

. . . all the families and friends of the shooting victims in Connecticut.

. . . all the moms and dads with gifts under their trees for their babies who aren't going to be there this Christmas.

. . . their parents laying in bed together, sad beyond belief, not wanting to go on, because that is how I would feel if it were me.

. . . their brothers, sisters, cousins, uncles, aunts and grandparents who all have to process what has happened to the ones they love and how they will never see them again.

. . . their friends, and having to explain to them where their playmates are.

. . . the other children in their class or at their school, and this affecting them all of their lives.

. . . the teachers, faculty and staff at Sandy Hook who aren't returning to work today because of what has happened, and being afraid to return to work ever again.

. . . the family of the shooter (yes, even them), wondering what they could have done differently.

. . . all of the people sending prayers and love, coming together in times of tragedy, realizing that maybe we should come together - always.

Feeling grateful, even though we are tired, that we got to hug and kiss our muffin today.
