5 Weeks

Today we went Christmas shopping with Ian's parents, Patty and Henry.  We wanted to catch their reaction to the news in a fun way too, so we decided to set up a video camera.  We thought we got it just right but when we watched it after, all the action was cut off!  I also tried editing it before posting it here and realized that there was no sound.  (In October, on our way home from San Diego, I put a bottle of aerosol hairspray in the same bag as our electronics with no cap.  Ian set something on top of it and it sprayed out all over everything the whole way home, and we didn't even know it.  And, I think it ruined our Flip Video because the mic doesn't seem to be working anymore.)  So, I'm sure it would have been a cute video if I would have actually caught the action AND the sound!  UGH!

Shopped a couple of hours and got really dizzy and clammy feeling.  For the first time, since we found out I was pregnant, I really thought I was going to vomit.  Had to head to Nordstroms and chill in the bathroom for a bit before going back out.  Ian, unfortunately, bought me a chocolate covered twinkie and I couldn't even look at it after.  Fashion Square was really crowded and stuffy, I think that was it.  Once we got in the car and headed to Tempe Marketplace, I felt better.

Later tonight we decided to take our first weekly pregnant pic.  I want to take one every week to track our progress and think they will be cool to look back on.  Here is our first official tummy picture:

And here is a picture I am going to take every week just for me, just to stay on track and keep motivated.  Since I am 32 and pregnant, and in the best shape I've ever been, I am really going to try to keep it up.  This is the only time I will post this photo, with my weight, until the end (the other ones will be just for me).  Hopefully I will have only gained the minimum amount of weight I need to for my height, weight and age by the end of this.  Hopefully.  (That sign reads 122 pounds, btw.)

And just a funny one my mom took yesterday at cookie making:
